Career Opportunities in Prevention Program Management

October 25, 2018: We have an immediate opening for a Prevention Program Supervisor.The main purpose of this position is to administer and supervise a county-wide Alcohol & Other Drug Abuse Prevention Program.  This position is also responsible for direction, assessment, design, and implementation of the Alcohol and Other Drug Abuse Prevention programming in the county.  Job Duties include:  Supervising AODA Prevention program staff;  Oversight of conducting community assessments; developing and writing grant proposals; managing budgets; submitting progress reports to funding agencies; developing, implementing and assessing programs to prevent alcohol & other drug abuse; and, technical assistance to community groups. A Master’s Degree or a Bachelor’s Degree in Education, Health Education, social or behavioral sciences or related fields is required. A candidate with a bachelor’s degree must have at least two years direct service experience performing progressively responsible Prevention responsibilities to be considered. Assessment/Case Manager Specialist We are building our bank of resume’s and are always looking for professionals with a strong work ethic to work full time in our Drug and Alcohol Central Intake Office. Duties to include: assessment, placement, and eligibility determination for treatment and funding.  A Master’s Degree or a Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Dependency, Sociology, Social Welfare, Psychology, Criminal Justice, Nursing or related field will be considered.  A candidate with a Bachelor’s Degree must have at least one year direct service experience performing counseling or case management in an alcohol or other drug treatment setting.  This is highly skilled work requiring independent judgment.  Must have basic computer skills. Those near the Titusville area are encouraged to apply!
