Case Management Specialist: CCDAEC is looking for a caring, compassionate, and knowledgeable full-time Case Management Specialist to join our team. Duties include: assessment, placement, and eligibility determination for treatment and funding, as well as engagement with individuals and assisting them with meeting any ancillary needs within the community. Applicants should be familiar with the DSM-V. A Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Dependency, Sociology, Social Welfare, Psychology, Criminal Justice, Nursing or related field will be considered. A Master’s Degree is preferred. Those individuals with at least one year experience in a drug and alcohol setting are strongly encouraged to apply. We will consider hiring at Trainee-level position for the right candidate. This is highly skilled work requiring independent judgment and organizational skills. This position will require travel throughout the county and meeting with individuals in their residence and/or other community locations. Access to a motor vehicle with appropriate insurance is required. Some evening work will be required. Must have basic computer skills.

Annual salary: $38,480 - $44,608 depending on experience and qualifications

Certified Peer Recovery Support Specialist

The qualified candidate will provide support services to individuals in recovery from substance use disorders by assisting in overcoming barriers, gaining access to community resources, developing self-identified personal goals for recovery, and promoting self-sufficiency. Advocacy for individual and family needs with professionals within the community, problems solving, role modeling and coaching are essential to this position. Knowledge of the purpose, goals and objectives of the recovery process, the drug and alcohol service delivery system, and excellent communication skills are required. This full-time position will be community based and will often require working evenings and weekends. Candidates are required to have obtained full certification as a drug and alcohol recovery support specialist (CRS) from the Pennsylvania Certification Board (PCB); certification must be in active status with the PCB.
