Chemical Dependency Counselor: Be a part of our team and make a difference! We are looking for a professional with a strong work ethic to work full-time in a non-profit outpatient treatment facility. Some evening work is required. A Master’s Degree in chemical dependency, psychology, social work, counseling, human services, nursing or other behavioral science is preferred; or a Bachelor’s Degree in areas listed above with two years clinical experience in a health or human service agency; or an Associate Degree in the areas listed with four years of clinical experience in a health or human service agency; or full certification as an addictions counselor by a statewide certification body. Experience in counseling adults and adolescents and development of a biopsychosocial is a must.
You would be providing direct clinical treatment (group and individual therapy)

Case Management Specialist: CCDAEC is looking for a caring, compassionate, and knowledgeable full-time Case Management Specialist to join our team. Duties include: assessment, placement, and eligibility determination for treatment and funding, as well as engagement with individuals and assisting them with meeting any ancillary needs within the community. Applicants should be familiar with the DSM-V. A Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Dependency, Sociology, Social Welfare, Psychology, Criminal Justice, Nursing or related field will be considered. A Master’s Degree is preferred. Those individuals with at least one year experience in a drug and alcohol setting are strongly encouraged to apply. We will consider hiring at Trainee-level position for the right candidate. This is highly skilled work requiring independent judgment and organizational skills. This position will require travel throughout the county and meeting with individuals in their residence and/or other community locations. Access to a motor vehicle with appropriate insurance is required. Some evening work will be required. Must have basic computer skills.
Annual salary: $31,908 - $41,633 depending on experience and qualifications

Prevention Specialist: CCDAEC is seeking candidates for the Prevention Specialist position. This is a full-time 40/week position with some evening and weekend responsibilities. Work in the Prevention Department centers on educating the community about substance use disorder and problem gambling, including the availability of case management, treatment, and recovery services. Services are provided to all age groups and are delivered through multiple channels including community events, schools, and community organizations. The Specialist position requires strong communication skills. The successful candidate will conduct speaking engagements and participate in the development of print, radio, TV and social media messaging.
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE AND TRAINING: One year as a Drug and Alcohol Prevention Specialist Trainee; OR a bachelor’s degree in health education, education, social/behavioral sciences, or a related field; OR any equivalent combination of experience and training.
Annual salary: $31,908.48 - $35,372.95 per year

Certified Recovery Specialist: CCDAEC is seeking qualified individuals to provide support services to individuals in recovery from substance use disorders by assisting in overcoming barriers, gain access to community resources, developing self-identified personal goals for recovery and promoting self-sufficiency. Advocacy for individual and family needs with professionals within the community, problems solving, role modeling and coaching are essential to this position. Knowledge of the purpose, goals and objectives of the recovery process, the drug and alcohol service delivery system, and excellent communication skills are required. This full-time position will be community-based and will often require working evenings and weekends. Candidates are required to have obtained full certification as a drug and alcohol recovery support specialist.
