
Assessment/Case Manager Specialist We are expanding and looking for a professional with a strong work ethic to work full time in our Drug and Alcohol Central Intake Office. Duties include: assessment, placement, and eligibility determination for treatment and funding. A Master’s Degree or a Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Dependency, Sociology, Social Welfare, Psychology, Criminal Justice, Nursing or related field will be considered. A candidate with a Bachelor’s Degree must have at least one year direct service experience performing counseling or case management in an alcohol or other drug treatment setting. This is highly skilled work requiring independent judgment. This position will require extensive travel throughout the county and meeting with individuals in their residence and/or other community locations. Evening work will be required. Must have basic computer skills. Access to a motor vehicle with appropriate insurance is required. Applicants should have knowledge of drug/alcohol assessments, level of care criteria, the availability of community supports and be familiar with the DSM V.
